Vision acquisition 12 bit

Hello

I am using a Hamamatsu Firewire Camera with 12bit, but cant make it work in the 12bit-mode, as the image acquisition window in LabView everytime shows just the 8bit data. It would be nice to use 12bit data for our research. Does anybody have some information for me to make this thing work?

Is it possible to acquire a 12-bit or 16-bit image in MAX?

Have you seen this: U16 Images in NI-IMAQ and NI-IMAQdx ?

With new expermentation we can get no images using the DCAM-API from Hamamatsu, acquiring an image with more than 8 bit is not possible when using the standard-driver for the cam.

With the Driver for DCAM-API we get 12 bit images using the programm HCImage supplied by Hamamatsu.
