Vision assistant missing .llb (ver 8.6)

Attempting to build a VI using Vision Assistant 8.6.  Using the Shape Detection tool as well.  When building the vi, it is looking for Vision Assistant Utils.llb (IVA Store Shape Circles Results.vi).  I cannot locate it anywhere on my harddrive.

IVA Store Shape Circles Results located in <Program Files>\National Instruments\LabVIEW 8.6\vi.lib\vision\Vistion Assistant Utils.llb.

If this llb not present, I will recommend to reinstall Vision Assistant (or Vision Toolkit completely).

Andrey.

Hi MSE

From reading this thread it appears that the original issue faced by dre99gsx was resolved by reinstalling Vision Acquisition Software. I take it you are experiencing a similar problem when creating an application using application builder you run into this missing dependency? Are you using both Vision Development Module and Vision Acquisition Software? Are both of these activated?

Sorry for the delay.

I reinstalled the complete Vision Assistant.  I did have two versions 8.5 and 8.6.  Somehow, it didn't install all the components thinking 8.5 had them installed (I didn't do a full 8.5 installation).  I removed them all and reinstalled 8.6 completely.  Problem fixed.

Reinstall did not work. I installed fresh LV 8.6 and 8.6 Vision from the 8.6 DVD on to another computer and it did.  Problem is unresolved, but I have just copied it from my new installed PC directory to my other 2 dev machines.

Hi MSE

Sounds like not all the components were removed during the reinstall, we can assume the disks have not been damaged since you were able to install on the fresh PC. Was the work around of copying the library files across from the fresh machine to the other PC's successful?
