This doesn't have anything to do with NI machine vision hardware or software, so this may not be the best place to ask this question. I'm sure there are other mobile photography boards that would have much better suggestions for you.
That being said, I've been super happy with my Galaxy S8+. I use Adobe Lightroom on my phone and it runs pretty well. The major slowdown I see is when loading in a lot of images into lightroom at the same time.
