Will NI-1428 Frame Grabber work with 3 Mega Pixel RGB Camera?

We have a 2048 X 1536 pixels color camera and a NI-1428 Frame Grabber. The output from the camera is 24 bit RGB. Can we use this camera with NI-1428 card? We were successfully able to use NI-1428 FG with 1280 X 1024 RGB color camera and 1600 X 1200 RGB color camera. But we got some error while trying to get the images from the 2048 X 1536 color camera. Please let us know whether this camera is compatible with NI-1428.

Hi. The 1428 does work with high res, color cameras. Which camera are you using? Is it listed on our Camera Advisor? www.ni.com/cameras.

We are making our own CameraLink Cameras. Our cameras are not yet listed in Camera Adviser. And we were sucessfully able to get images from 1280 X 1024 RGB and 1600 X 1200 RGB cameras we made. The problem is while getting images with 3 MP camera. Some of the high resolution cameras listed in NI web site are not with RGB output but with 8 bit bayer encoded output. So we wonder whether any 3 MP, 24 bit RGB output cameras will work with NI-1428.
