Hi,
I have a Flir SC5000 research camera that I am trying to interface with a NI 1428 card. However I have had zero luck with getting any of my NI or Flir software to detect the camera over Camlink. I am able to get the Flir software to connect over an Ethernet cable and I was able to get a Camlink connection on a computer owned by a different lab using a coreco frame grabber.
So my question is: Is there a simple procedure for adding a new camera in the NI software and is my card/camera combination even supported?
Thanks,
Will

Will,
Have you tried using the Camera File Generator to try configuring a new camera file for your camera? https://www.ni.com/en/support/documentation/supplemental/19/creating-a-camera-file-using-the-ni-came...

We have all of the required hardware and software and I have created a camera file, however I now believe the issue is due to the computer being a 64 bit systems and all of the components and software being designed to run on a 32 bit system. Thanks for your answers though.

The camera is now up and running on a 32 bit system, the other computer has Vista 64. While the camera works fine using NI software, Flir now states that NI cards are not compatable with their thermal imaging software.
