forum access impossible - server reinitialized

Hi,

I sometimes get an error when posting a message : "The connection has been reinitialized with the server".

This post is only to try to reproduce this error to get help from our network administrators.

Sorry for the previous "useless" post.

Since I was unable to post any message on the forum for two weeks from my work office, I was only trying to get more information on the network settings that could cause this problem with the conviction that I will not be able to send the message.

By the way, if anyone knows which network settings (firewall or something else) could prevent a user to post on the forum, I will note it carefully for the next time our network administrators will try make our internet access more “secure”.

Hi David,

The only think I can think of is that we use some javascript on the forum pages.  Perhaps that is causing you a problem?

Is it only after you have filled out the post screen that you see this error?  Not just trying to read a page?  If you are having trouble posting and want to send me a message you may also be able to use the "Report to a Moderator" function in the Options menu of a particular message.

Thank you for your message.

The problem is only after pressing the "Submit Post" button. Then, I reveive an error message "Connection with the server has been reinitialized" (or something like that, I receive the error message in French !).

It seems that our network administrators have corrected the situation in our location. But it's good to know that I can use the  "Report to a Moderator" button to get help if it appears again.
