how can I connect digital inputs to spring terminals on ni 177x smart camera connector block?

Hi, 

I am using ni-1772C smart camera and I am going to connect my encoder and counter to digital input spring terminal in connector block.

But I do not know how to connect it. 

Can I just push and plug it?

Do you have illustration for wiring?
