Can you give some details like what exactly you want to do. You can adjust the image contrast and brightness using BCG lookup. You can apply filtering operations as well.

Why zip for a single image? You can attach a png or a jpg image from next time

i wnt to find the line edges to make aliging between up and down parts! how can you threshold the low contrast images?

i only have bmp images!
