Dear All,
I am using Photonfocus MV-D1024E-160-CL-12 along with PCIe-1429 framegrabber. I am using Dell precision T5400 and Labview 8.6.
Ideally my camera can go upto 80 KHz, which is achieved by reducing the area and exposure. I wish to go upto few Khz (4000 - 5000fps). Using MAX i find that I can go only upto 150 Hz, even if i reduce the number of pixels to very low numbers.
Could anyone suggest a way out? Maybe i could be missing something!!
thank you very much
Kind regards
Shiju

You will need to use the Photonfocus camera control utility to change the cameras frame rate. You can download the utility at http://www.photonfocus.com/html/eng/support/software.php. Also, you will need to reduce the height and width of the image acquisition window in max to match whatever value is set with the Photonfocus camera control utility.

Dear Robert,
Thank you very much for the advice. It is working now, but there is some other issues.
I am using LL Grab example from IMAQ to get aquainted with and also to quickly know whether i am able to achieve the requiste frame-rate i want. Using the Photonfocus camera utility, I adjust the frame size and the exposure to achieve an upper limit of 10000 fps. I wish to see the same rate of grabbing with the LL Grab program. However, the frame rate shown by the program hovers around 5000 fps.
What should i do to have same frame rate while grabbing?
thank you very much
Kind regards
