The camera configuration file for the Kodak ES 1.0 used to ship with NI-IMAQ (can't confirm for the current shipping release). Therefore with a complete installation of NI-IMAQ, you should be able to select this particular camera through MAX.

As for examples, again those that ship with NI-IMAQ demonstrate simple snaps and grabs using your PCI-1422 regardless of the type of camera you have connected to the board. The choice of programming environments is fairly broad, so you should find something to get you s
tarted.
You will need to be using NI-IMAQ 2.2 or later with your PCI-1422 - currently the NI-IMAQ driver is at version 2.5.5 and is available to download elsewhere on the NI web site. However, provided you have successfully installed the software provided with your board, you should not have any problems taking basic images inside of MAX and confirming that you all your hardware is correctly connected and working.
