particle stuck

Is there some instrument in LAbview to filter the particles stuck.

My application is measuring of the particles in a flow cell. Sometimes one or 2 particles could be stationary for a while or untill the cell is rinsed. It gives some error in statistics.

Would it be possble to take them into account?

What kind of particles you are filtering?... How are you telling that these many particles are stationary for a specified time... Could you explain these then it will be easy to find a solution...

I have a flow cell with liquid passing through that has some solid particles or droplets of another liquid. I will try to attach picture how it looks like.

They are more or less monosize.

The problem is that  sometimes when it passes the flow cell it could attach to the surface of the glass for some time and of course it would be counted and make change to statistics.

I have attached the printscreen.

Normally particles are moving on the screen with the flow and within 1 second they move through the screen.

The images analyzed every 0.2-1 seconds.

Stuck particles could sit there for unlimited amount of time.

Hi,

Once you have detected the images (as per the digitized vision indicator), we can seperate these out to seperate "particles" by using an IMAQ label vi? There is a good example of how the IMAQ label vi works within the LabVIEW examples "\examples\Vision\2. Functions\Grayscale Processing" I am then thinking, once we know how many particles we have, this could then run into a for loop, and look for ROI changes/some algorithm to help distinguish between particles.
