Hello Sassi, 

 

Thank you for previous help however I am stuck again. Actually, I am working on electroluminescence imaging process for solar cells and trying to detect the cell's cracks and spots which can play a vital role for cell's efficiency. For this I was trying to train my code to ask what pattern you are trying to find and I can choose one cell of  the solar module,  image output could be complete solar module only solar cell without background. I tried to make a program but drawing matching pattern vi is not working, could you please look at my code and help me how can I achieve my target thank you very much.

Sure Lazzer,

 

Before that i cant able to find the defects in the attached image. Can you recheck and mark the defect, it helps me to get a better idea.

Hello sassi, 

 

I can open a new thread but I was thinking to open a thread of matching the pattern but it was already exist. I can open a new thread name of finding cracks on solar cells by matching pattern, make it is for you to browse as well.

As regards to pointed out the area, if I be honest I do not know how to mark them but if you look at the solar module, it consists of 9 cells and on the 5th cell at the bottom there is big circle which is cracked area and on 6th and 7th cell at the bottom there is a crack line.

I have attached another file for you to look at. If you look in the middle of the module you can see a a crack. I am trying to take more pictures of solar modules sample where I can see the black sopt which call the dead area but could not find any cell in the lab yet. Smiley Indifferent . Any way thank you very much for help. 

Let me know about opening new thread as well please.
