Hi,
I am trying to build a vision application on one pc and deploy it on the other one. I use LabView 2009 SP1, and have installed both LabView 2009 and LabView Vision 2009 Run Time Enviroments on target pc. I can successfully execute applications that do not use vision on target machine, but when I included IMAQdx VI's in my VI I got the following error:
Unable To Locate Component
This application has failed to start because NIPALU.DLL was not found. Re-installing the application may fix this problem.
I found that missing dll on development machine and copied it to windows/System32 folder on target machine. But then some other dll was missing.
So I am starting to think that I need to install additional software on target machine, perticularly NI Device Drivers. Am I right ? If not how can I solve this problem ?

Don't you need a run time license (for Vision) on the target machine?

Hi r719
if you are using IMAQdx functions on your target machine, you need the Vision Aquisition Software installed on it.
This software allows you to aquire pictures from your hardware.
If you addtionally use functions from the Vision Development Modul, you can purchase the Vision Development Modul Run-Time which includes the the Vision Aquisition Software.

Hi r719,
what license do you have?

Hi Alex,
thanks for response. I have Academic Site License. But it looks like I will have to get by without using LabView Vision functions.

Hi Rashid,
if you installing the latest version of NI-VISA on your PC NI-Pal will be also installed. It could happend that NI-Pal is defect.
