Did you mean:

select a camera with high resolution

I want to buy a high resolution to my project. That camera must has at least 4 megapixel. That's Frame-Rate is not important. I can't buy industrial camera because they are so expensive. I deside to use some digital camera like Canon or Nikon. what kind of this camera suatible for my project?
What deference is between industrail camera with usb interface and other digital camera with usb interface?
Thanks

Hi jalili,

Most of our hardware and software is geared to industrial cameras. Also, most industrial cameras fall into the following interfaces: IEEE-1394, GigE, Analog, Cameralink, and Parallel Digital.

If you did want to look into industrial camera interfaces that National Instruments hardware supports take a look at Cameras Supported by NI Hardware.

Ackermann Automation created a Labview interface for the Canon EOS line.  I have never used it but seen it demonstrated, and was impressed.
