simulate acquisition suggestions

Would you please consider adding the following functionality to the simulate acquisition step for VBAI:

Check box to also include images in all subfolders (perhaps with a default limit of 100 directories just incase someone accidently points to the C:/ folder with this on).  Currently this requires a LabView step in a query state to build the list of filenames in an array, then another LabView step in an image acquisition state to select an image from the array.

Another "nice to have" would be:

A boolean to indicate that the current image being provided is a repeat.  I use this to cycle through a list of images once and only once programmatically.

I know this is a simple calculator step + 1 inspection variable but it's used quite often.

Thanks for the suggestions Steve. VBAI 2013 just released and it has some updates to the simulate acquisition step that will help you out.
1. Additional results logged to indicate the current image index in the folder and how many images it will cycle through. You can use this to determine when the first cycle of all images is done.
2. Support for previous measurements for the path so the path can come directly from a run lv step.
3. Support for specifying a folder and any image files in that folder will be cycled through.
4. Ability to use new images available in folder. On the first cycle of a
Folder the step will detect all available image files. After cycling through all of these it will detect what's in the folder again to account for any images that may have been deleted or added since the first scan of the folder.
5. Support for reading AVIs.

Hopefully these new features will make it easier to accomplish what you want. Let me know if you have other suggestions.
THanks
Brad
