the CSYNC External of PXI-1408

I am an user of National Instrument's product PXI-1408 IMAQ.In my application,theIMAQ

should select channel 0 for the CSYNC source and work in standard mode to acquire a

composite-video signal at channel 0 on the first step,then select channel 2 for the CSYNC

source and work in CSYNC External mode to acquire an RGB color image(R at channel 1,G with

sync at channel 2,B at channel 3)on the next step.It provides this selection in Slave

Acquisition Mode and CSYNC Source Selection Tab of National Instruments's

Measurement&Automation Explorer(MAX2.0),but such function can not be found in the NI-IMAQ

Function Reference Manual,resulted in some difficulty when programming the IMAQ for an

ATE(Auto Test Equipment) applicati
on.
No doubt that National Instruments's software can slove this problem.If anyone know it

,tell me as soon as possible,please.

Hello Lincoln,

You are right, we do currently not have all the functionality from MAX available as function calls. The work around is to have two camera interface files (iid), one with the lock mode set for none and the other having CSYNC lock mode. They will then hav to load a different interface to change this with a IMG Init.
