I need to connect a load cell from HBM to a computer and the interface we've got available at the moment is a BNC-2110, can I connect the load cell, wich is 4 wire signal+ and -, and excitation v.+ and -, to the 2110?
the BNC 2110 does not have the proper conditioning stage to connect to a straing gauge. It only provides connectivity to the Analog Input of the DAQ board you connect to. You will need to provide an external conditioning stage to the load cell in order to read its voltage with the BNC 2110.
I read the thread you suggested and considering the prices of the interface suggested there i might end up using an arduino+ADC based solution, since I dont need too much accuracy in my measurements.
