How to measure 200V DC voltage by using Ni C modules?

I want to develop electrical tester with NI cRIO. The tester is required to measure the DC voltage of -200v--+200v. Could everybody tell me which module can work for it.Thanks a lot.

Hello,

It is a pity that there are no proper hardwares of C modules for measuring ±200V voltage. The modules can either measure low voltage of positive and negative voltage, or they can measure 0V~high voltage.

Maybe you can try the SCXI modules, which contain signal conditioning modules for your application.

Hi,

To be honest, I have no idea why you need to measure such a high level DC voltage.

Ususally, what we need to measure at this level is Power Grid AC voltage.

You can have a check whether NI 9225 module (300Vrms) could cover your need.

Here is its User Manual and Specification:

Hello

We use a LEM CV 1000 transducer (but there others on the market) this will step the voltage down from 1000 VDC to 10 VDC and the units have a calibration curve provided that will allow you to scale the output data and report it correctly. Most DAS systems will not measure much over 60 VDC. The use of a simple voltage divider will not provide the safety measures that would be observed when measuring voltages above 50V. Hope this helps

CMRR (dB) = 20 log (Differential Gain/Common-Mode Gain) you can be measured by using this formula. I think it should be helpful for you. my friend told me this formula from dubai tour- your trip dubai
