I could not configure a DAQ assitant for any channel

In the wizard after selecting the voltage input i am not able proceed forward i.e i could not find any channels to select in Mychannelsbox,so can any one tell me what should i do and what all the software i need to install to use DAQ.i have complete labview development suite version 7.0 ,i hope to get reply as early as possible,bharat

What version of NI-DAQ are you running? What DAQ card do you have? If you do not have a DAQ card installed, you will be able to start the DAQ Assistant but not complete it since you have no available channels (no card installed).

If you do have a DAQ card installed, is it functioning in MAX? Can you run a test panel on it?
