I have an error 10401 using ni4351

Hello,

 

I use NI4351 with TBX-68T, VI Logger version 2.01. Recently I receive error 10401 when I try to start a new task.

 

Why do I receive this error and how can I solve it.

Dear Mireille,

 

I'm sorry about the problems you have with your product. The issue can be software related (driver) or it is possible there is a hardware issue with your NI 4351. The first step can be to verify if the hardware works well in the measurement and automation explorer (MAX); you should be able to see the device there under devices and interfaces. With MAX you are able to open a test panel and do some basic tests. So please start with verifying your device in MAX.

The second step can be (if the device isn't working in MAX) reinstalling your driver (NI DAQ / traditional DAQ), use another PC slot for your device or use another PC and install the driver there and see if it is visible in MAX (so only install the driver on another PC).
