Why my computer reboot itself when I minimize MAX?

I am using MAX 3 and IMAQ PCI 1408 to capture photo off a microscope. Why is my computer reboot itself when I minimize MAX?

Hi Yan,

Thanks for using our discussion forums. This sounds to me like MAX has been corrupted. I would suggest uninstalling MAX and the IMAQ driver and then installing IMAQ 3.0.1 from here:

This should take care of the problem. However, if you still have any troubles, please let us know.

I uninstalled and reinstall MAX and NI IMAQ; however, the computer still reboot itself when I minimize MAX.

Yan,

This is a very strange behavior. Do any other applications cause this same behavior on your computer? What about if you tried it on a different computer? You may need to consider cleaning all NI software out of your registry or reformatting your computer as it sounds like something is corrupted.
