current measure

Hello Sir.
I have to set up a system to measure current between 1-100mA and record the time how log it persist. The system will be used to estimate leak electricity.
I want to you give me some suggestion about which LabVIEW board can be use and is there some sample program I can reference.

Hello,

You may have more luck getting this question answered if you post in the 'Multifunction I/O' or 'Digital Multimeters' category. You have posted your question to the 'Measure' category, which pertains to the National Instruments software "Measure for Windows"...judging from your post, you are not using this software.

Good luck with your application, and have a good day.

Michael,
The application you want to make seems to be a simple Analog input task. This can be achieved with any of our E Series Multifunction Boards. The specific model depends upon the Sampling rate you need and the resolution (12 or 16 bit). This boards measure voltages, so in order to measure current you have to connect a known resistor in series with your source and measure the voltage across such resistor. The value of thye resistor should be calculated to avoid exceeding the voltage input range of the board (e.g. 0-10 Volts) Look to the next Document:

I recommend you to take a look to our online catalog located from www.ni.com:

Product & Services > Measurement Har
dware > Multifunction DAQ >
select E series DAQ Devices and/or Low Cost E series

Hope this helps

Thanks for contacting National Instruments
