software won't install because system is on drive j

I just bought a new pc to install the PCI GPIB card. Card installed great and sees the instruments. However, when I try to install the applications such a Measue or Visa the installer fails because it can't find C drive. The system is on J drive and I can't rename it without starting from scratch. Is there an installer package that will allow me to choose the drive it installs on?

Hello gpiboy:

When you start the installation, it should let you manually change the drive to install to.

The installers won't give me that option. They simply trie to install and then abort because "C drive is invalid".
