APPCRASH for devenv.exe after MS 8.1.2 with VS2005 & vista_x86_64

I installed Measurement Studio 8.1.2 with Visual Studio 2005(sp1, sp1 for vista) , Vista x86_64

After installing, Visual Studio can not be excuete

Before installing MS 8.1.2, there was no problem in Visual Studio 2005

Hello clydeph,

I have a couple of questions for you.  First, when you say that Visual Studio can not be executed, what exactly do you mean?  Clearly, it crashes, but do you see any functionality prior to this?

Also, is this the English version of Visual Studio?
When you installed Measurement Studio and Visual Studio, were you logged in as an administrator?
Can you replicate this problem on any other machines?

I'll look into this problem and get back to you with further suggestions.  Please let me know when you have a chance to answer these questions.
