Adding NIDAQmxReference to Visual Studio 2010 Deployment Package

I have created a deployment package for my solution, but I cannot get the deployment package to include the NIDAQmx dependency file   When I run the deployment setup on the target machine, an error message pops up asking for the NIDAQmx file reference.

I have carefully followed the KnowledgeBase article titled "Distributing Measurement Studio Applications in Microsoft Visual Studio 2003/3005/2008/2010.

When following the article, Visual Studio asks for addtional files.  Is this where I should point at the NIDAQmx dll?  Where are the dlls?  At that point I am lost.  I do not see any NI files in the Detected Dependencies folder.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks.

Hi mower_man,

Based on what you described it sounds like you are doing everything correctly. Just to verify this is within a Measurement Studio Project? Also, you can add the modules manually and on my machine they are located at    C:\Program Files\Common Files\Merge Modules. I have also linked a table of the measurement studio assemblies and what the necessary merge modules are for those assemblies.
