Are there 64-bit versions of NationalInstruments.DAQmx and NationalInstruments.Common available?

Well the last time this questions was asked on the forum was 2008/2009 and the answer was "We're working on it" so I figured I'd bring it up again.

We've got some utilities that reference these two DLLs and long story short we're being asked to make those utilities accessible in a 64-bit process. Are there x64 versions of these DLLs available?

Hello KOben,

You can find the 64bit assemblies here:

C:\Program Files\National Instruments\MeasurementStudioVS2010\DotNET\Assemblies (64-bit)

There is an entry in the help called: 64-bit Support in Measurement Studio .NET Assemblies

Search for that in the following document.

Hi Jacob, thanks for your reply. Which installer should I use to get these .dlls? I don't have them on my machine. I installed Measurement Studio 2010SP1 (as Evaluation) but I don't see a MeasurementStudioVS2010 in the ProgramFiles directory. There is one at C:\Program Files (x86)\National Instruments\MeasurementStudioVS2010\DotNET\Assemblies (64-bit)\, however the only two .dlls there are NationalInstruments.Common.Native and NationalInstruments.UI.Styles3D

Hello KOben,

I believe that the one common dll you have there is the one you are looking for. The other dll would install with the latest version of the DAQmx driver. I don't think that there are specific checkboxes in the installation wizard for 64-bit support; however keep an eye out for them.
