We are looking to write a Windows Forms application in either C# or VB in Visual Studio to link to a Cary 4000 spectrometer to control it to run scans and then manipulate the data received using our software and to store it in a SQL Database. We have never done this kind of work before and I am looking for possible solutions when I came across Measurement Studio. Does anybody know if this sounds feasible and if so are there any getting started examples I can look at.
