DAQ Test doesn't work on AI2 but works on AI0

I am reading a tach that monitors the speed of a motor. I setup using DAQ assistant to read from AI2 but it refused to work. When I reasigned channel to AI0, I could take readings and it stopped after a while. Why is this? Using PCI-6220 with MS 7.0 in c#

I have a couple issues (help please - I have a deadline)

- when I changed the physical channel the task works and I can read but after a couple minutes, it doesn't show readings anymore

- initially when I read, even without spinning the motor, I get some kind of noise on the channel and when I spin the motor, the noise goes away and I can see the sinusoid that represents the motor speed. How do I get rid of the initial noise that occurs when I am not even spinning the motor.

- I initailly used the evaluation copy of MS 7.0 but now I have the licensed copy but when I try to run my programs, I still get the pop that says this program was written using the evaluation copy and will shut down after 5 minutes of running and it actually shuts down.

Thanks to anyone who can help me out 😉

Hello,

With regards to the licensing issue you are experiencing, try rebuilding your application. The Measurement Studio license is embedded inside you application at build time and it seems like the release license is not getting embedded. Rebuilding your app will force this to happen.

I have rebuilt the program so many times but I still get the pop-up.

Works now, I was rebuilding the solution not the whole project. Thanks a lot.
