Error to use NIVISv32.dll

Hi

I recently change USB GPIB to USB GPIB+

After I changed to USB GPIB+ , I realized that GPIB+ required to use NI-488.2 14.0

After I started use new driver and USB GPIB+, my software started Crash and "Application stop working".

it was realized with NiViSv32.dll files.

I opend windows error log and it was pointing NiVis32.dll and Error code C00000005

I also get error  from mscorlib

I just USB GPIB (old cable) with new verison(NI-488.2 14.0), it seeomed to be working but it was crashing eventually.

I was assuming that windows system is currputed by something, so I uninstalled NI-488.2 14 and I installed previous version which doesn't support USP GPIB+

With old version of driver and USB GPIB was working without troubles

I am not really sure why ? new driver with NI-488.2 14.0 doesn't work

I am not really sure why this happening 😞

does anybody know why ?

I am using Window 7 32bits , VB.NET and .Net 4.5 version

Hello bob7,

Have you double checked the software compatibiliy from the Readme file? Having an incompatible VISA driver version could cause issues among other things. You can check those out here:

Also, it is always possible that you had a corrupt install of the driver. Sometimes firewall settings can cause this to happen. I hope this helps.
