How to plot 3D graph by using C# in Measurement Studio?

Hi,

I am new in C# programming. Currently I am developing a program using C# language and Measurement Studio 7.1. This program will use for signal processing. So, may I know how to plot 3D graph (waterfall) in my program?  I notice that only 2D graph available in Measurement Studio. Thanks for your help!

Hi Wesley,

The following links will get you up and running:

Creating Intensity Graphs in .NET using the Measurement Studio 3D Graph Control

Using Plot Styles with the Measurement Studio 3D Graph Control

Plotting Intensity Using a Measurement Studio 3D Graph Control

There is no C# Assembly for 3D Graphs, but you can get the same functionality combining the C++ code as in the top example.

Hi Ni community :

No idea how to perform a 3d chart on MS2010 -vb.net- under 64 bits?

Is it in your plans for future releases ?

thanks in advance.

Elbob,

Sorry for the lack of response. Unfortunately, you are correct, the 3D graph for Measurement Studio is the ActiveX version that is not 64-bit compatible. If you need a 3D graph in 64-bit then you can use the intensity plot, but this only produces 3D data in a sense that color is the third dimension. Currently Measurement Studio does not have an equivalent to the ActiveX 3D graph control. I don't really have any information to provide on future support of this feature, but I would recommend taking the time to place a product suggestion for it. Our development teams typically look at these as the primary source when considering new features.
