Integrate Hardware into Measurement Studio

We have unique hardware and want to integrate this hardware into the Measurement Studio and we can make the interface USB, CAN or basically any high speed interface. We have input and output parameters to be transferred.

Is this possible? That is, are there standard (or can we define) interface packet protocol information that we can put our information into or does Measurement Studio only work with NI hardware cards?

You can use any type of hardware, just use NI VISA to connect and to send commands to your hardware.
