Internal Software Error CPP_API software, request code: -2147220712

Hi,

I am using USB-6009 board with Measurement Studio .NET 8.0

I get the following error everytime I try to run any or NI's or my program

Internal Software Error occured in CPP_API software. Please contact National Instrument Support.

Request code: -2147220712

Status Code: -224803

=================

I am not able to pin point what caused this and everything was running fine earlier. Any suggestion?

Hey,

A similar error code has popped up in DAQmx version 7.3.  It could be fixed by completely closing out the current project along with Visual Studio and then reopening them.  What versions of DAQmx and Visual Studio are you using?  You mentioned other NI example programs give the same error.  Had you tried just running one of the DAQmx examples that does not contain any Measurement Studio code?

This is what's happening . The first time I connect the USB DAC to PC, the standard windows erroe screen pops up

If I try to plug the card again, I get windows blue dealth screen.

THe Micrososft crash analysis report is as shown below.

I did try to reinstall the device drivers and also Measurement Studio, but its not working. I cant even try any DAQmx examples because my compter does not accept the card itself.

Please help.

Hello Anirudha,


What version of the driver are you using? When you reinstalled the driver, did you reinstall from a fresh version download the latest version from the website?  If not, I would recommend downloading the latest version from the internet and starting with a fresh copy of the driver. You can download the latest version here.

If you still have problems after reinstalling, please send an email to NI customer support.
