Many broken links in Help

Is it just me finding many links broken in the Measurement Studio Help in VS 2008? e.g. here, click on any VisionImage link - I get "The page cannot be displayed".

It is difficult to backwards track that link. Where does your link come from? Could you give me a path to navigate through the help to get to this link?

Yes it looks like all of the links to non-NI help topics are broken. I have filed a bug report and this should be fixed in a future release of the software. In the meantime, you can find these pages by searching in the Visual Studio help viewer.

I only found links to non-NI pages to be broken. Let me know if you find any that link to the documentation of NI components.

The example broken link I reported is to VisionImage - that is a NI component.

 I believe the Help in question comes from NI Vision Acquisisiton Software Sept 2011. I'm using it on Win XP SP3 with VIsual Studio 2010.

I don't know which of the 100 NI items on Add/Remove Programs are Vision (only two have names starting "NI Vision"), but I can post the list if you like.

The Vision Acquisition Software Sept 2011 does not support Visual Studio 2010 (meaning it does not support .NET 4.0 and does not have Visual Studio integration, but you can still use the assemblies), so the help should not be viewable. Microsoft made major changes to the help with VS 2010 and our help documentation for Vision does not support the new help viewer. Are you viewing the help in previous version of Visual Studio?

It looks like there may be an issue with this link as well. Could you post the URL of the help topic in question while I look into this?

I think the link is attempting to link to the .NET 2.0 support page. As a workaround, try installing the .NET 2.0 support from the Vision Acquisition Installer.
