Measurement Studio 8.0.1 is now available and includes a new set of libraries for Visual Studio 2005 .NET 2.0 and C++ Microsoft Foundation Classes (MFC). Measurement Studio 8.0.1 fully integrates with Visual Studio 2005 and provides integrated help, project wizards, DAQ Assistant and Instrument I/O Assistant (IIOA).
Measurement Studio also introduces support for ASP.NET with Visual Studio 2005 only.

Measurement Studio 8.0.1 is a free upgrade for Measurement Studio 8.0 customers. SSP customers will automatically recieve the CDs. Measurement Studio 8.0 customers without SSP can contact
NI Sales for information on how to obtain Measurement Studio 8.0.1. Measurement Studio 8.0.1 is not available as a download.
An evaluation version for Measurement Studio 8.0.1 will be available soon. It is not available for download at this time. I will post an update when the evaluation version is ready for download.
The workarounds that were required for previous versions of Measurement Studio to work with Visual Studio 2005 are no longer necessary.
Measurement Studio 8.0.1 .NET libraries are supported with the Visual Studio 2005 Express editions, but not the integration support (DAQ Assistant, IIOA, Project Wizards) as the Express editions do not support third-party integration. There is no Measurement Studio C++ support with the VS 2005 Express editions as the C++ Express editions do not support MFC.
