Measurement Studio Version selection, Standard or Prof.?

I don't plan to do any web forms or Ethernet control, only Windows forms, all on Visual Studio 2005, no VB6.  If you have Measurement Studio Prof. or Enterprise, how helpful are the Parameter Assistant and DAQ Assistant?  In other words, how much code does it really replace?  I am trying to choose purchasing either the Standard or Prof. editions.
Thanks,
Héctor

Hello again, Héctor!

I spoke with you on the phone yesterday to explain the functionality of the Measurement Studio tools, but great idea posting to the forums to seek advice from other customers - they are often the best source of information regarding experiences with our products.  For your reference, here is the Measurement Studio manual that I referenced on the phone yesterday - you can find some information on page 4-6.  Don't forget that you can try an evaluation version of Measurement Studio at this link, and there is a manual to assist you in evaluating the software found here.

Furthermore, here is a Developer Zone tutorial on using the DAQ Assistant in Measurement Studio (complete with images).   You can compare that process with the code required to manually set up a given DAQmx task, an example of which can be viewed here.

I hope these references help you in making your decision, Héctor!
