MeasurementStudio 2013 using VS2012 DAQmx Dependency Problem After Upgrading

Here you go. The directory that it was located in within my computer was:

C:\Users\Public\Documents\National Instruments\MStudioVS2012\DotNET\Examples\Application\Deployment\WiX\All Libraries\Setup

If you run into any more problems while working with it, it would be a good idea to make a new forum post. The thread will get more traffic and then you can mark the forum as resolved when you find the answer to your question.

Hi,

Please excuse my english,

I'm using Visual Studio 2012 and I got this problem too. With my collegues, we found a workaround for this problem, but I don't know if it will work for you.

First Step :

- go on C:\Program Files\Common Files\Merge Modules and cut the merge modules involved in your error message

- Paste this modules in a safe place, for exemple in C:\Program Files\Common Files

Second Step :

- Go on the menu "Specify Application Data"

- In the "Files" Page, don't choose all the project output but only the .exe and ressources files you need

Third Step:

- Right click on the .exe file and select "Dependencies from scan at build..."

- Unselect the dependencies you don't need

This works for me, now I can build an installer with installshield.
