My support answers got lost?!? I see questions from someone else...

I logged into ni.com support site as mturon@xbow.com and I see questions from someone else... I had two really good solutions from Elton I was working through and I can't find them now. One was regarding printing charts and an AutoInteraction class for making chart zoom/pan toolbar tools. The other was on chart axis control techiques.

Thanks.

You can always find links to questions you've asked, answered, or commented on through your profile page, so you should be able to access them there. Here are the links to the questions that you mentioned:

Yes, it used to work.. I don't see a link for "Profile", but I login, click on "Support Utilities", then on "Check Support Request Status", and see:

580801 Presumed Resolved 03-MAY-04 11-MAY-04 Matt Pickard Measurement Studio for Visual Basic Plot Disappearing when assigning LineColor
580799 Expired 03-MAY-04 11-MAY-04 AE, Austin LabVIEW

I'm not Matt Pickard, and we don't have offices in Austin as far as I know.

So I'm a bit confused I guess on how to navigate the web GUI and find my questions easily.

mturon,

Let me try to clear up what you are seeing where.

You have found the way to check the status of your phone and email support requests via the "Support Utilities" and "Check Support Request Status." That is where you can see the service request numbers, their status, when they were created, who at NI helped you with the incident, and what the question was about. Matt Pickard was an engineer who helped you and the AE, Austin incident was one that had no activity so it had our generic owner which is AE, Austin. You currently cannot see Discussion Forum requests from this view.

The "Profile" that was referenced is your record of your activity in the discussion forums. Anywhere in a forum thread that you see your alias (or
anyone else's alias), you can click on it to get more information about that person. You can see how many questions, comments, answers they have posted, when they became a member of the community and how other members have rated their responses. If you click on your alias, you will see the questions you have asked in the forums at the bottom of the screen. From there you can quickly link to the threads and see what responses there have been so far.

I hope this helps clear things up for you. Let us know how else we can help and have a great day!
