Hello,
I know that this isn't specific to Measurement Studio, but that's what I'm using with it via Network Variables. Has anyone ever seen this behavior in NI Distributed System Manager when trying to add a process?
The Error is: Could not create process. (Hex 0x80040306) Internal error: The requested attribute change does not match the type of the attribute. Please note the steps you performed that led to this error and contact technical support. Error number: -2147220730 Machine: localhost Process: test
When I try to create a process through .NET code on this machine, I get an "Unexpected Error": in the NI Variable Engine code.
I've got the latest version of NI Distributed System Manager (2020), I've rebooted, and I've ensured that the National Instruments Variable Engine service is running. Windows 10 64-bit.
Thanks again!

Nevermind, I figured it out. It was some combination of software that I didn't have.... like either an upgraded variable engine or parts of DSC RTS.
