ScatterPlot has intermittent crashes

I have 24 ScatterPlots simultaneously plotting data from 24 channels every second on a form with 2 tabs (12X2).

I have intermittent crashes on any 1 of them where it would stop plotting any data and fill the graph with a 'X'. The rest 23 continue to work fine.

does anyone have any idea why this could happen?
