USB wiring to NI USB 6525 ?

Hi:

New to Measurement Studio. I'm planing to use NI USB 6525 to reset a USB controller. Anyone can help with what will I need to do in order to accomplish it? Specially I'd like to know:

1. How should my USB controller be connected to the NI USB 6525 ?  In other words, I guess I will need to cut up an USB cable, and one end connected to the input pins of 6525 and another connected the output pins of 6525. But exactly which USB cable should be connected to which pin?

2. Once hardware is ready from above step, which NI Measurement Studio class/API will I need to simulate unplugging my USB controller's cable from the machine and plug it back in ? This is to simulate the human action of unplug/re-plug the controller's usb cable.

Thanks in advance

Hey Polaris,

Can you provide more information about the USB controller that you're working with? It sounds like you would need some sort of Digital high/low being sent to/from the controller to simulate this behavior but I think the specifics could depend on the USB controller.
