Hi Reinhard,
I am confused as to what you are installing. Are you
trying to install or uninstall NI Measurement Studio for Visual Studio .NET
2003 or simply installing/uninstalling our NI-DAQmx driver? Those words "NI Measurement Studio DAQmx Visual Studio
.NET 2003 (NI-DAQmx 8.3)" doesn't make sense to me, so if you could
explain in more detail, that would help.
Those two products are two entirely seperate software products as DAQmx is simply a driver you can freely download but
Measurement Studio you need to purchase.
Best Regards,

Hi Reinhard,
When you install DAQmx, including .NET support (both 1.1 and 2.0) doesn't require
Measurement Studio to be installed as those options are basically just
installing the DAQmx .NET assemblies and the documentation. However, there are
two other others when installing DAQmx entitled Measurement
Studio for Visual C++ 2003 and Measurement
Studio for Visual C++ 2005. These options do require Measurement Studio
to be installed (we enforce this in the dialog after pressing Next which will
indicate whether or not you have Measurement Studio installed. If not, you
can't proceed).
Did you have those options checked as shown in the attached screenshot? I know
you said you only checked the .NET Framework options but I wanted to
double-check.
Also, I would like you to create a log of your installer so we can see exactly
why it’s failing. Follow the How
Can I Create a Log File from my National Instruments Installer?
KnowledgeBase and then post the log.
Also, I noticed the error message was not in English and I was curious what
language you are working in?
Best Regards,
