Using NIDAQMXBase 1.5 with VS 2005 beta 2

I am developing an application using VC++  under Visual Studio 2005 Beta 2. I am also using NIDaqMXBase 1.5. The problme I am seeing is that when I try and initialise the NIDaq software (see line below) it throws an exception. Any dieas why, or how I can resolve this issue? Thanks

I'm not sure why this would be happening. But just as a heads up, DAQmx 7.5 now supports all the USB DAQ devices that were supported in DAQmx base only. You can download the  driver from here. I would recommend using DAQmx 7.5 instead of DAQmx base.
