Using gauge control on ASPX Web Site a for IPhone or IPod Touch

Hi,

is there anybody out there who figured out that NI Web controls are running on IPhone or IPod Touch.
I am extermly interested in getting the gauge control runing on the IPod.
But unfortunately i will receive my first IPod to test this stuff only in two weeks.Smiley Mad

Hi Juergen,

Nice job.  Was the gauge control the only Measurement Studio control you used?  Just for everybody else on the forums, and myself, would you mind giving a brief summary of what your application does?

Thanks

Hi Johnathan,

At the moment this was only the first part of  case study which i perform in my leisure time. The aim is to display some diesel-engine data on a wireless device.
The idea came up on last christmas as i saw a PSP slimeline. A nice small device with browser and WLAN. I took this device and and made some test with NI's timer
and gauge control. It was working out PSP's FrontNet was not supporting Ni's AJAX stuff from timer and gauge. So the page was rebuild(flickering) very time when PSP was
trying to get the latest data from server (counterValue from 0 to 10 and sorted as Session). This was bad.
Then i read something about the IPhone and PDA's but  too expensive for Leisure Programming !! Then I saw I Pod touch and 1Euro for 1.5 Dollar is a good deal. So got an Ipod from the US.
And tried the same stuff. And it is working.

At the moment i am reading the book Iphone and Ipod touch programming from  Richard Wagner. To give the Website a look of an Ipod application. This is really amazing !
But now it seems that i get some troubles with inserting aspx sites  into this "framework"

Greetings

Juergen

Hi,
I'm currently developing an IPhone/IPod Touch (IPhone hereafter) application similar to a remote panel.  Essentially, the program provides a remote screen on the IPhone that is customizable on a server running LabVIEW via TCP.  As of now, the program is able to display and read values from Boolean, numerical, and string indicators/controls.  I’m adding more features that address current issues (eg. button mechanical action property, numerical sliders), testing, and writing the formal documentation.  Expect this program to be launched early February if not earlier.

Hi, has there been any progress for the iPod Touch app for LabView?
When might it be available?
Thanks
