I am using VS 2012 and installed MStudio 2013 yesterday (I do not want to upgrade to .Net 4.5 as 4 is perfectly fine for me) now everytime I open my solution the licenses.licx file is being modified and the NI lines being removed.
Surely this cannot be something that is supposed to happen ? Is there a way to stop this happening ?

I've found the tools option that will turn this off (tools->options->Measurement Studio->Automatically update projects->False), however it doesn't excuse the behaviour of breaking my solution and saying absolutely nothing about what it's doing.
Surely it should be intelligent enough not to change this unless it offers me the update outdated references option too ?

Hi pbrown
I think this relates to the references being outdated, and as you've noticed it doesn't automatically offer to update them.
You can suggest this in the feature request section.

but the references aren't outdated, they're using the current ones which would be picked if I chose VS 2010 (which incidentally I'd used to update the references already).
I just wanted to use VS2013, targetting .NET 4 and have no requirement for .NET 4.5 at the moment.
