convert thermistor value

Hi all,

        I'm currently trying to work out a subvi from a thermistor to a DAQ. and using labiew to obtain actual value. but no matter how i try, i just can't get the right temperature in degree celsius. I'm using 'convert thermistor reading VI'. the voltage reference means? Because i still using a voltage divider to lower down my voltage as my wireless DAQ can only take in 80mv. Is there any suggestions for obtaining actual value? hope to hear your reply soon.

Hi Isabella,



Try open context help by pressing Ctrl+H and point your cursor to Convert Thermistor Reading.vi.

Then, click detailed help on bottom of context help window.

You'll see how to input each data into this vi.

I think you need to set voltage reference as your supply voltage and R1 as your divided resistance.
