measurements.crosspowerspectrum

In the documentation of the .NET Measurements.CrossPowerSpectrum Method it is stated that "At least three cycles of the signal must be contained in the time-domain record for a valid estimate.", which is fair enough as an average of "raw spectra" (FFT's) is needed to make valid spectral estimates.

But how do you specify that the the signals are to be interpreted as "3 cycles"  and not "one cycle".

Morten,

The Measurement Studio CrossPowerSpectrum Method documentation is meant to imply that the signal must have gone through at least 3 cycles in order to accurately estimate the cross power spectrum measurement. It is up to your discretion to determine what that cycle is.
