nidaqmx measure p-p voltage

How can I measure the peak voltage of a 75 Hz 10vp-p waveform using a nidaqmx?

Hi Joncombat,

If you are using Measurement Studio .NET, there is an example program that installs with Measurement Studio that does Peak Detection and measures the amplitudes of those peaks.

The example programs install in one of two locations:
<Program Files>\National Instruments\MeasurementStudioVS2005\DotNET\Examples\
or
<Documents and Settings>\All Users\Documents\National Instruments\MStudioVS2005\DotNET\Examples\

And the particular example I am referring to is located under <Examples>\Analysis\PeakDetector

Hope this helps!

Also,

For more information on some of the concepts involved in the example, I would recommend the following article:

Hello Joncombat,

If you are using CVI you can refer to the forum post here, which should give you some information on peak-to-peak measurements in LabWindows/CVI.  Also if you do have questions about CVI in the future, it would be best to post them under the CVI forum so they will be answered correctly.
