scatterplot crashes during InitializeComponent() for a form in VisualC# 2008

I am trying to plot some data acquired from a camera to a scatter plot on a form.

Initially my application would crash at the plotXY() routine.

Then I updated my drivers to Measurement Studio for 8.5.

Now during InitializeComponent() for the form, the app crashes at scatterplot plotAmp1 = NationalInstruments.UI.ScatterPlot();

Can someone tell me whats going on and how I can fix this?
