the instrument driver dll created by measurement studio in vb.net can not be loaded

Hello,

i have a problem with the instrument driver am using. it is mxox802x driver which i downloaded from the instrument drivers from national instrument.

the problem that i have is that when i use this driver in vb.net using measurement studio, it keeps giving me that the dll can not be loaded !!!!!

 

so what should i do????? help please !!

Ala,

 

I tried to find the instrument driver that you are referring to so that I could see if I had the same problem you are describing, but I have not been able to do that.  Could you post a link to the page that you downloaded the driver from so I can take a look?  Is this the first time that you are using this dll, or have you used it before sucessfully?

 

You should also double check that you downloaded a version compatible with Measurement Studio for Visual Studio. That will be listed on the leftmost column of the table of available drivers for download, under ADE.  The dll needs to be where Visual Studio expects, generally in the same folder as your source code or some generic windows directories, which is described in more detail on Microsoft's website: Search Path Used by Windows to Locate a DLL.
