Component works needed

Hi everyone,
8 years ago, My company buy a program from NI called "COMPONENT WORKS STARTER KIT". Now my company wanted to buy this software again because some of our system need to have this program.
I have difficulties to find the link about how to purchase this software, and i dont even know whether NI now still selling this "COMPONENT WORKS STARTER KIT".
I have no clue at all, the only thing that i have is the box from the previous engineer who order this program 8 years ago, thatw why i know the name is "COMPONENT WORKS STARTER KIT".
I hope some one can help me to guide me what is the compatible version that now NI have.
If there is a link or any information, could you please advice me.

Hi Andrian,

National Instruments does not sell the Component Works starter Kit any longer. Take a look at the Measurement Studio page here, to see if it's what you are looking for. Hope this helps. Thanks!

Regards,

Thank you for the help

Since NI didnt sell ComponentWorks anymore, Is this measurement studio actually works the same as ComponentWorks?
Actually in our program , the previous engineer only use ComponentWorks to display the signal graphic

Hi andrian,

Measurement Studio used to be called Component Works at one point and you will notice that some of our old legacy ActiveX controls all start with cw (i.e. cwdaq.ocx, cwui.ocx, etc).  We still sell those ActiveX components as those components are typically used in Visual Studio 6.0 applications.  If you purchase either the Professional or Enterprise editions of Measurement Studio, you will get a second CD that is for Visual Studio 6.0 support. That CD installs the VS 6 support which contains all the CW (ComponentWorks) controls like cwui.ocx. The cwui.ocx file contains the cwgraph, cwknob, etc controls.  My guess is that your legacy applications are using these controls. If you are still planning on working in Visual Studio 6.0, then you will want those controls.

If you are planning on moving to .NET, then you can take advantage of all of the .NET controls and libraries that we provide for Visual Studio .NET 2003 and 2005. You can find information about those features in the link that was posted earlier.

Best Regards,
